2. Eligibility

3. User Accounts

4. Volunteer Conduct

As a volunteer, you agree to:

  • Treat staff, fellow volunteers, and those you serve with respect
  • Follow the policies and procedures of hosting organizations
  • Report any safety concerns immediately

5. Organization Responsibilities

As an organization posting opportunities, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about volunteer opportunities
  • Treat volunteers with respect and provide a safe environment
  • Honor volunteer signups and communicate any changes promptly
  • Verify volunteer hours accurately
  • Not discriminate against volunteers based on protected characteristics

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use VolSnap to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to circumvent platform security
  • Scrape or collect data without permission
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post on VolSnap. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it on the platform. You represent that you have the right to post any content you share.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VolSnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of opportunity listings or the conduct of users. Organizations are responsible for their own vetting and safety procedures.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolSnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VolSnap and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
